Treasures of the Talmud

The Talmud is the compendium of Jewish law, legend, lore, culture and customs. To study Talmud is to enter into a multi-generational conversation stretching back thousands of years. In this course we will explore various themes such as honesty, interpersonal relationships, suffering and ethics.

 

Pearls from the Parsha: A deep dive into the weekly Torah portion
Thursdays 11:00-12:00
A great Rebbe once said: “Live with the times!” He was referring to the weekly Torah portion and its relevance to our lives today. In the course of our exploration we will seek out the perennial wisdom and timeless truths of the Torah. We will consult a variety of commentaries from classical, contemporary and hasidic sources.
